Solilo is about stories, but more than that — it’s about seeing each other. About giving form to the unseen, the unspoken, the deeply felt.
the Solilo project
Solilo began with a single question: what if your story could become someone else’s art?
How it Works
-
1. Starts with a Story
A simple prompt invites people to share a piece of their experience.
-
2. A creative receives it
Writers, painters, musicians, sculptors, and other artists sign up to receive a story. Each one is randomly paired with a story — no context, just the words.
-
3. Art happens
The artist interprets the story in their own way. There are no limitations — only transformation.
-
4. The Reveal
When the piece is complete, the story’s original author sees their story reflected back to them through a new lens.
The Vision
For now, Solilo exists as a quiet experiment — a collective of stories waiting to be created into art. But one day, it will be something more:
A traveling gallery. Imagine an exhibition where each piece is paired with its original story — an interactive space where people can read, listen, and experience the journey of a story.
A storytelling archive. A growing collection of human experiences, preserved and interpreted through art.
A living project. Something that evolves as more voices, more hands, and more hearts take part.
If you have a story to share, you’re already part of it.
If you want to create, the stories are waiting.
