Solilo is a platform and movement dedicated to the transformative power of storytelling and creative interpretation.
Rooted in the belief that stories connect us on a deeply human level, Solilo seeks to create spaces — both digital and physical — where individuals can share a story that serves as a window into who they are and witness their stories come to life through art.
Join for the in person dinner on in Northglenn, Colorado on November 19th. I’d like to keep it intimate still but feel free to invite other humans you think would enjoy this evening.
How it Works:
1. Submit your Story
Share a true story from your life — no more than 5 to 10 minutes long when read aloud. It can be simple or complex, joyful or heavy — what matters is that it’s real.
We ask that you include as much emotional honesty and sensory detail as you feel comfortable with.
2. Someone Receives It
Another participant will be paired with your story — no context, just your words.
They will read it, sit with it, and use it as inspiration to create something new.
(And you’ll receive someone else’s story, too.)
3. Art Happens
The person who receives your story will interpret it in their own creative way.
There are no limitations — only transformation.
A painting, a poem, a song, a dish, a movement, a sculpture — whatever the story stirs within them.
4. The Dinner
On the night of the dinner, each person reads the story they originally submitted aloud.
Then, the person who received it will present the piece they created in response.
We move around the table this way — story, then art — letting the room hold it all together.
